Important Dates

Paper Submission Deadline:March 29, 2008
Decisions announced:April 29, 2008
Submission of Final Paper:May 4, 2008
Workshop date:June 27, 2008

Paper Submission

All submissions will be handled electronically. Submission instructions will be posted on the conference website (http://www.cvpr.org/2008/) in due course. Reviewing will be double-blind. In submitting a manuscript to S3D, authors acknowledge that no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another conference or workshop during the review period.

Camera-Ready Paper Submission

We are having the publisher (OmniPress) collect all the workshop papers at a centralized website. Once the website is setup, OmniPress will send an e-mail to all of the contact authors with instructions on how to submit their camera-ready papers. Included in each e-mail will be the OmniPress generated import number that each author will need to submit their paper. Also included in each e-mail will be instructions about using IEEE PDF eXpress as well as the IEEE electronic copyright.

Post conference research meetings and tours

In addition to the main workshop program, post-conference research meetings and tours in the Canadian mountain parks (Banff/Jasper, Alberta) will be arranged, sponsored in part by Informatics Circle of Research Excellence (iCORE) Alberta. Through these additional meetings we will aim to produce common datasets and benchmarks, summary statements from different groups, and description of application areas.
